What you're paying for
Three commitments. In writing. Before you pay a cent.
01
Real fills. Not screenshots from a backtest.
Every paid issue cites the same Interactive Brokers fills Charlie's own account is running. Dates, strikes, expiries, premiums received — exactly as the broker recorded them. We redact account numbers. We never redact the trade.
02
Weekly P&L. Up weeks and down weeks. Both go in the email.
Every Thursday issue closes with the week's realised P&L from Charlie's options book — every closed position, win or loss, with the broker screenshot. The losing weeks get the same coverage as the winning weeks. That's the deal.
03
An operator. From Singapore. Covering hours US-only desks don’t.
Charlie Chan is the named, on-the-record operator behind Carepital. He trades his own accounts. He reads the tape during Asia hours, which means gold, FX-driven flows, and overnight risk get watched while New York sleeps. He's also the human reviewing every issue before it ships, on top of the AI-assisted drafting.
Free vs paid
What stays free, what becomes paid.
While the waitlist builds, everything is free. After the paid open, the Tuesday preview stays free for everyone — the rest becomes the paid tier.

FAQ
Questions we get before people sign up.
What is this?
Carepital Options Desk is the paid options-income tier of Carepital. One weekly paid issue with the trades Charlie is running, weekly P&L from a real Interactive Brokers account, and a Saturday deep dive on one strategy or position. It's a publication — not a signal service, not a Discord, not a managed account.
When does it open?
When the waitlist hits 500 signups. The open date isn't on the calendar — it's on the count. We won't open into an empty room. You'll get a T-14 heads-up email the moment we lock the open date, then T-7, then a T-0 early-access window for waitlist members only.
What do I get free vs paid?
During the waitlist phase: a free Tuesday preview issue and a free Saturday deep dive every week. After the paid open: the Tuesday preview stays free for everyone; the Thursday full paid issue (positions + weekly P&L screenshot), the Saturday deep dive, and the monthly P&L letter become paid. Founding pricing — $29/mo or $250/yr, locked forever — is reserved for the first 100 paid subscribers. Standard pricing after that is $39/mo or $290/yr.
Why a waitlist?
Two reasons. (1) The wedge — "Singapore operator running short premium on gold and select equities, with weekly P&L" — has to actually have readers who want it before we charge for it. The waitlist is the test. (2) Founding-member pricing only makes sense if there are founding members. The first 100 to upgrade lock $29/mo or $250/yr for life; the standard rate after that is $39/mo or $290/yr.
Who is Charlie?
Charlie Chan is the named operator. Singapore-based. Trades his own accounts at Interactive Brokers — primarily short premium on gold and select equities, with a side of credit spreads. He's the face of Carepital and the one reviewing every issue before it ships. Drafts are produced with AI assistance (Claude, Anthropic); Charlie reviews and approves. Trades shown are real.
One last thing
100 founding seats. After that, the founding rate is gone forever.
